Zoom, zoom, zoom. I’m excited to share sample shots from recent abstract adventures with my friends at 7 Salon in downtown Seattle. I’ve been experimenting with a technique I use for abstract architecture; but now the subjects are models — often as they’re being made-up and coiffed for glamour events. Heartfelt thanks to hair stylist Jaclyn Beith. Her friendship, talent, and enthusiastic involvement in Suspended Image™ projects is cherished. In addition, I’d like to thank those who participated in last Sunday’s photo shoot at Hotel Andra: lovely and congenial models Yuriko Say and Jeana Janik, wardrobe specialist Kristi Bleich, and makeup artist Ryann Brady. Each abstract shoot allows me to try new things and hopefully produce more examples of what can happen with a long exposure, a steady zooming hand, and a little bit of luck.
