Zoom, zoom, zoom. I’m excited to share sam­ple shots from recent abstract adven­tures with my friends at 7 Salon in down­town Seat­tle. I’ve been exper­i­ment­ing with a tech­nique I use for abstract archi­tec­ture; but now the sub­jects are mod­els — often as they’re being made-up and coiffed for glam­our events. Heart­felt thanks to hair styl­ist Jaclyn Beith. Her friend­ship, tal­ent, and enthu­si­as­tic involve­ment in Sus­pended Image™ projects is cher­ished. In addi­tion, I’d like to thank those who par­tic­i­pated in last Sunday’s photo shoot at Hotel Andra: lovely and con­ge­nial mod­els Yuriko Say and Jeana Janik, wardrobe spe­cial­ist Kristi Ble­ich, and makeup artist Ryann Brady. Each abstract shoot allows me to try new things and hope­fully pro­duce more exam­ples of what can hap­pen with a long expo­sure, a steady zoom­ing hand, and a lit­tle bit of luck.
