NAPP Photo Walk

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

The World Wide Photo Walk was July 18th and I joined in for some fun. The route was around Fairly Poplar in downtown Atlanta. It was a big group of 50 photographers — from hobbiest to pro level — walking around town taking photos for fun. Here are a few of my shots for that day.

We wrapped up the walk with lunch at Taco Mac. I hadn’t been there in over a year… and YES, it broke every diet rule. Of course that means it was yummy :D

We talked photography and even came to find out that some of us also shared the love for riding. Who knew we had a town called Juliette? Apparently it’s most known for being the movie set for the series “A Killing Affair” and “Fried Green Tomatoes” (which I’ve never seen but most of you probably have). The Whistle Stop Cafe is there. Juliette also has a really cool building that is home to Les White and is now the Old Mill Motorcycle Museum. I made my longest road trip so far on my bike to visit the town last week. Fun ride! Thanks Ken for the tip!
