One of my friends sent me an invite to do the War­rior Dash with her. It’s some­thing I’ve always thought about doing but just never did. The invite couldn’t have come at a bet­ter time cause I was just start­ing a new work­out and ready to lose some pounds after gain­ing weight in the last year. So easy to gain weight isn’t it? :) Tak­ing it off is never an easy task. After 3 months of try­ing to get ready for the WD, I almost didn’t do it cause I have had a series of injuries that didn’t allow for me to con­tinue with the work­out con­sis­tently. What was I think­ing, you ask? I’m still won­der­ing that myself lol. Actu­ally I’ve always loved adven­ture and although I wasn’t pre­pared to really be com­pet­i­tive I was more than ready to do it any­ways and see it through to the end. I hope to be in com­pet­i­tive shape by next year and plan to do more of these obsta­cle races. Why? Cause I can :D They are chal­leng­ing and FUN! So why not :)
